How Does Arizona Define Transportation of Drugs

If law enforcement officers found illegal drugs in your home, on your person, in your vehicle, or at another location under your control, they will analyze the substance and measure its quantity. If they find more than would be reasonably assumed you could possess for personal use, you will be charged with transportation with the intent to sell.

The legal thresholds for common drugs include:

Methamphetamine: 9 grams
Powdered cocaine: 9 grams
Rock cocaine: ¾ of a gram
Heroin: 1 gram
LSD: ½ millimeter or 50 dosage units
PCP: 4 grams or 50 milliliters
Marijuana: More than 2 pounds
